Today, we take part in the Huntingdon and Peterborough Association League (North Cambridgeshire).
Our Club Season runs from June to May every year, and the league usually runs between October to April.
As well as offering competitive badminton throughout the year, we also have a social side!
Every year we try and arrange social events which have included ten pin bowling, and golf days. Most popular are the quiz nights, treasure hunts and meals out at different restaurants and eateries in the St Ives and Huntingdon area.
St Ivo Badminton Club is run by a Committee, comprising of a Chairman, Club Secretary, Treasurer, Fixtures Secretary and other members. It sets the Club rules and Constitution.
The Committee meet several times a year to discuss various club/ league issues (and set dates for social events!!). An Annual General Meeting is held once a year |
